A message from the owner of this site:
JustDisney.com, originally just “The Walt Disney Website” has been up and running since July of 1999. The site features new facts and information about Walt Disney’s life, ideas, and creations.
I created this website for a few different reasons. I was sad to see other “Disney” sites that had poor design, or weren’t allowed to expand. I wanted a website that was clean, easy to navigate, and was packed with information.
So, over the summer of 1999, I constructed JustDisney.com. Everything, all graphics, text, and image editing was done by me. It took a long time, but it was worth it. The entire site is run, operated, and is maintained by me. I don’t have any help, nor do I need any. I would rather have it all done for me, but it’s fun doing this.
I had no idea that JustDisney would be so popular. In the first 3 weeks I had more than 1,300 guests come and visit.
Now, you’ve probably noticed now, that I use “we,” “us,” and “our” in much of the phrasing on my pages; instead of saying “my,” “I,” and stuff like that. Well, again, that was one of the issues I thought of while creating this place, I didn’t like those sites that that had a too happy “getting to know you” feel. I wanted this to be professional, which is what I made it to be. But when I say “we” or “us” I mean everyone who has visited the site, because by visiting to this place, you contribute to the growth and knowledge of Walt Disney’s life, ideas, and creations (which is why I made it)
I hope as time goes on, the site will become more popular, and grow even further.
